Design and construction. Heads are Cellu-clay sculpted onto foam wig heads and watercolored and hands are carved from wine corks and textured with Cellu-clay. Bodies were made from cardboard and pine. Puppet head was attached to a helmet so that the head was manipulated using the movements of the puppeteer's head. The puppets were mounted onto hiking backpack frames to allow for the puppets to correctly sit at height in the ash bins.
